At an exhibition, a booth has to do more than display — it has to draw you in. The brief for GUBI at India Design Mumbai 2025 was to design a 36 sq.m space that felt layered yet breathable, shifting the experience from retail to something closer to a home — allowing visitors to imagine the furniture within their own spaces.
A muted green defined the booth's visual identity, creating immediate recall within a dense exhibition setting while allowing GUBI's beige furniture to remain the focus. Soft, curved forms and two access points encouraged natural movement through the space, avoiding the rigidity of a conventional display.
The material library was conceived as an interactive moodboard wall rather than a catalogue — inviting touch and exploration, making customisation feel intuitive rather than transactional.
The result is a booth that draws attention without demanding it — composed, open, and easy to be in.
